  Midterm exam is tentatively scheduled in Week 7 during the lecture time slot.
  The exam will be of 70 Minutes duration.
  Midterm exam will cover Lectures 1, 2, 3, 4  & part of Lecture 5 on Real time Scheduling (slides 1-?)
  and Labs 1, 2 & 3.
  ARM Inst. Set - Reference Card is allowed. Bring your own hard copy in the Midterm exam.

  There will be no lab session in the first week of Fall 2026.
  First Lab will be organized in the 2nd week of Fall 2026 Semester,
  starting on Monday Sept. 14, 2026.

  Course Evaluation and Marking Scheme
  1. Labs/Project (35%)
      Labs: 20%
      Course Project: 15%
  2. Theory (65%)
      Midterm Exam:  25% (Week 7, during lecture Hours)
      Final Exam:  40%
  To pass the course students need to pass Theory (Midterm/Final Exams) and Lab (Labs/Project) components.


  Final exam is scheduled during December 2026.
  The exam will be of 120 Minutes duration & it will cover all the Lectures, Labs and Project Material.
  However, around 70% questions will be from the material covered after the midterm exam.
  There will be no question on assembly level coding for ARM Cortex-M3/M4 CPUs.
  Students are allowed to bring a (single or double side) letter size sheet of self prepared notes in the exam.

  Please Note:
   1. There is 5% per day penalty for late submission of the labs and project
   2. All of the required course specific written reports including labs, projects and assignments will be assessed not  
       only on their technical or academic merit, but also on the communication skills of the author as exhibited
       through these reports.
   3. Midterm exam will also cover the corresponding laboratories to enforce individual lab attempts.
