Lian Zhao

Lian Zhao received the B.Sc. (with Honors) degree from Civil Aviation University of China in 1990, M.S. degree in Wuhan University, China in 1993, and Ph.D. degree from University of Waterloo in 2002, all in electrical engineering.
She joined the Department of Electrical, Computer, & Biomedical Engineering, Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2003. She is an IEEE Fellow and a registered professional engineer in the province of Ontario. She serves as a Distinguished Lecturer for both the IEEE Communications Society and the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS), and is an elected member of the Board of Governors of IEEE VTS.
