TMU MATHWORKS WEB-PORTAL
In April of 2021 Mathworks deployed a dedicated Toronto Metropolitan University web portal to assist anyone at TMU to be able to access Matlab. Before installing MATLAB, you are required to have an @torontomu.ca email address.
STEP 1: Create a Mathworks Account
- You will need a My.TorontoMU account (@torontomu.ca) to register at Mathworks. (YOU CANNOT USE YOUR @ecb.torontomu.ca, @cs.torontomu.ca, , etc. addresses. IT MUST BE YOUR @torontomu.ca ADDRESS.)
- Follow the steps outlined in the Mathworks help page to create your account.
STEP 2: Download and Install Matlab
- Once you have created your account with Mathworks (see STEP 1), login to TMU's Mathworks Web Portal to download and install MATLAB. You will require approximately 8-10 GB of free disk space on your computer before you begin.
- Follow the steps outlined on the Mathworks Downloading and Installation help page.
Just need to Reactivate?
- Every year when TMU renews it's campus wide license for matlab you will need to re-acti vate your matworks installation.
- Follow the steps outlined on the Mathworks Update your Campus-Wide License page to re-activate your matlab installation.
