Everything actually happened but nothing is real.

Reality no longer has the time to take on the appearance of reality. It no longer even surpasses fiction: it captures every dream even before it takes on the appearance of a dream.
—Jean Baudrillard

ReeALITY is a comic-strip that is set at the electrical engineering department of a Canadian university and deals with the relationships of the staff, faculty and students there. It is similar in spirit to Dilbert, GPF, Crippling Depression and User Friendly.

All the characters in this strip are fictional and any resemblance to living or dead persons is purely coincidental. In other words, these stores are real; the names have been fabricated to protect the author.

I've had email asking, "did that really happen?" It would spoil the fun if I answered. I can't invent 3/4 of the stuff that happens here and the stuff I do invent isn't even half as funny as the stuff that really happens.

Now, if you didn't find a strip funny, it's because you either had to be there or it's a inside joke (I do this strip as a coping mechanism for all the craziness around here). On the other hand, if you feel your blood pressure rising, then STOP READING! as it may cause serious damage to your ego. Remember, it's a comic strip, so lighten up and get over it.

Currently, a new strip is released whenever I feel like it. I have enough material to release one strip every minute, but I cannot draw that fast.

If you're new to this page, I suggest you start with the archives, at the bottom of the page, since there are many references to past comics. If you want to receive new strips by email, send an email to the address below and I will add you to the list.
